CMA Planning have secured planning permission from the LLDC for this scheme on Hepscott Road in Hackney Wick, designed by Hawkins\Brown, for Aitch Group. The proposal includes 30 new homes and 10,000 sqft of new employment space.
The scheme was designed with regard to the context of the general masterplan principles developed by the LLDC for regeneration and development of the Hackney Wick Neighbourhood Centre. Design wise, the proposal has a robust brick face drawing from the warehouse typology of Hackney Wick and a soft reverse face to the adjacent new street / yard, which will provide ancillary space to the commercial units.
