CMA Planning have secured planning permission from the London Borough of Hackney for this scheme on Gransden Avenue, in London Fields. The scheme was designed by Guy Hollaway Architects for Gransden Avenue Ltd and includes 42 new homes and 2041 sqm of new commercial space.
A key aspect of the design is the flexible commercial space, spread through the site. These spaces provide units that allow creative and like-minded individuals to collaborate and share ideas in this thriving area of ‘creative’ Hackney. Above these commercial spaces are two residential blocks, with a raised garden, whilst situated to the south of these two blocks is a new terrace, with commercial spaces at street level and residential units above.
