CMA secured approval for two schemes at the July Waltham Forest Planning Committee, the first Committee run under the new Green Party administration. First was this scheme on Wood Street, opposite the station, for a mixed use development by Paolo Cossu Architects for F.C RE Ltd. The scheme was described by Officers as a well-designed and high-quality residential development which would contribute positively towards the transition of the area. The second was for amendments to a scheme by Manak Homes on Forest Road, which will help with the deliverability of the proposal, which followed on from the original approval obtained by CMA in 2024.
