Lennard Road is a mixed tenure development in Croydon for Family Mosaic (now part of the Peabody Group). Permission was granted in April 2015 for the redevelopment, which saw the existing former NHS buildings demolished and the creation of 26 new one, two and three bed homes.
Conran and Partners’ design includes a four and five-storey block of apartments, with balconies and terraces as well as three-storey townhouses and a number of two-storey mews houses.
The proposal delivers good quality homes, and open space on an inner-city site, whilst responding to the character of the local area. The vision also includes an attractive “secret garden” for residents to enjoy and provide a place for relaxation.
The scheme was completed in 2017 and won Best First Time Buyer Apartment' at the First Time Buyer Awards in the same year.
