This site fronts onto the River Thames, is within a Conservation Area, is 100 metres to the west of the buffer zone to the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site and 180 metres from the World Heritage Site itself and falls within the Strategic Viewing Corridor from Greenwich Park to St Paul’s Cathedral.

CMA Planning helped the team work through these significant constraints to bring forward a 10 storey scheme containing 41 new homes (with a density of 1538 hrph) and some commercial space. Key to this was ensuring the height, scale, bulk and design of the development was considered appropriate for the location and would not have an adverse impact on the West Greenwich Conservation Area, the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site or the designated strategic view from Greenwich Park.

CMA Planning secured planning permission from the Royal Borough of Greenwich in December 2015 and the scheme was completed in 2019.
