CMA Planning secured approval at the LLDC Planning Committee in March 2024 for their latest scheme in Hackney Wick. The proposals for Scape, designed by Hawkins\Brown and BD Landscape, will be Hackney Wick and Fish Island’s first Shared Living scheme.
The development will provide 212 shared living homes and 1400sqm of work space, with exemplary shared amenities at the heart of the design, helping to enhance the resident’s sense of community within their home. The development sits on a derelict brownfield site with a rich industrial heritage that will be re-invigorated to create new homes for creative people within the vibrant setting of Hackney Wick.
CMA have worked extensively in the HWFI area in recent years, and this project represents their 20th major approval.
